The most important news at present is that the ABRSM is no longer permitting Private Visits in private houses!

The first we knew was when the examiner at our last visit in December 2025 informed us; we have had no communication from the ABRSM despite having run these visits three times a year since we moved to Cottenham 25 years ago! 

It's ironic that, now we've moved to Stretham, we won't be able to do this any more. However, our December visit ran very successfully at St John's College School and we hope that they will kindly allow us to continue. 

Of course, candidates will no longer have the advantage of rehearsing in the exam room before the exam day, as they did in Cottenham, but the advantages remain of knowing the date well in advance and knowing that your accompanist will be there!
